We are proud to introduce our Compliance Manager Gareth Thomas. Gareth has a long carer working for Greater Manchester Police as a serving Police Officer.
Gareth comes to us with a stoic working ethos and adherence to compliancy, he has a Degree in Biology and Infection Control so is well placed to ensure all aspects of compliance in care is adhered to. He works to ensure that all staff are fully trained, keep up to date with E Learning, are booked on practical classroom learning sessions when required and also read company policies and procedures on a regular basis.
Gareth is committed to ensuring all D S Homecare Staff, whether office based or field based are compliant and fully supported by management. Keeping track of all compliance with clear record keeping.
Gareth monitors recruitment, ensuring no candidate is passed for work until all documentation has been recorded, references obtained, DBS Checked, E Learning complete and all relevant documentation has been signed.
Gareth has been instrumental in streamlining our record keeping by implementing the use of excel for compliance monitoring.

Anne-Marie has had a long career in managing staff and being responsible for going out speaking to client for personal care plans, doing spot check to make sure the carers are in the correct uniform and guiding the team to give the best care out on the field.
Anne-Marie has worked as a care coordinator and has also been a community Healthcare Assistant. She has experienced care as a health care assistant out in the community and has work with clients to make sure the care provide is match to the service user personalise care plan needs .
Anne-Marie is passionate, caring and determined to offer a first class service to service users and a well paid career path for Healthcare Assistants. Anne-Marie has taken time to speak with service client out in the community, to obtain an insight on what personal care a service client needs to ensure they get the best service from our health care assistant. She believes in equality and parity in pay in the workplace and is committed to creating a working environment that rewards the dedicated healthcare staff who deliver exceptional homecare to service users in the community.
